Love mayo? Love sriracha? You’ll love sriracha mayo! So goes the premise behind this squeezy sauce from Sarayo. The sauce definitely leans more creamy than spicy. If you’re a fan of sriracha, you might find yourself craving a little more heat, and mixing some in.
Which is really my only main complaint about the product. While it’s more than fine, it takes just a few seconds to reach for your preferred brand of mayo (Duke’s for the win!) and mix up with the exact level of sriracha you prefer. The results, at least for me, are demonstrably better and more enjoyable. That makes this product somewhat redundant for me, especially with fridge space at a premium.
By way of comparison here’s a little home made sriracha mayo I made up. My own variety is on the left, the Sarayo is on the right. For the time being I’ll stick to making up my own like this.
Sarayo Sriracha Mayo
Is Sarayo Sriracha Mayo any good?
There’s nothing inherently wrong with this product. If you want sriracha mayo stat, this is a usable solution. That said, if you have both sriracha and mayo in your fridge, it takes just seconds longer to mix up your own blend that will be invariably better.
