Another fine find from Sprouts Market. This duck liver mousse is a perfect topping for toast, or served on a little charcuterie plate alongside other fixings.
If you’re new to pate and looking to dip your toes in the water, this is a great place to start. The flavor profile is relative timid for a pate, heck they even call it a mousse. That means more emphasis on the creaminess than the sometimes powerful liver flavor.
If you’re a pate pro this is a fairly sedate offering, again focused more on the creamy than the minerality or texture.
