This slightly more upscale jerky style snack can be found on many big box stores – I picked these up in a Walgreens of all places. The packaging is certainly distinctive enough.
I’ve had far better products in this class from boutique and artisan providers, no doubt; but when stacked up against the competition on the aisles of a Walgreens – these are definitely a step up from other options.
There’s some mild smokiness, garlic and mixed vegetal flavor in tasting. There’s not a great deal of chew, they’re relatively soft. It should be noted the package recommends refrigeration once opened.
