I find that Tandoor Chef are one of the more reliable pre-made Indian food products around. I’d go as far as saying they even best some sit down full service restaurants I’ve visited over the years. They typically don’t skimp on the heat or flavor, nor do they use substandard ingredients. My only general negative is I find the products hard to locate in my own town.
These chicken samosa continue in the fashion of the great Tandoor Chef products; indeed they also provide their own little twist on the classic Indian snack, which really works for me; the shredded chicken is a fun change of pace from the usual lamb or potato/pea mix you’ll find in a more traditional samosa.
Inside each little pastry parcel you’ll find plenty of well seasoned chicken, which as I mentioned above, don’t hold back at all. There’s no gristle or weird, “hmmm, what is this” moments if you peak inside.
These samosa are perfect as a snack or fun appetizer to a larger Indian feast.
Tandoor Chef Tandoori Chicken Samosa – what’s in the box?
Eight samosa are separately packaged into two containers inside the box. Each of the four samosa packs are wrapped in plastic, they are not resealable once opened.

Here are four samosa right out of the microwave with a couple of Indian pickle relishes for extra pizzazz.

Tandoor Chef Tandoori Chicken Samosa nutrition and ingredients
A serving of four samosa are surprisingly not too unhealthy for a frozen/microwave heated snack. No doubt the calories go up if you should deep fry them (see below).

Tandoor Chef Tandoori Chicken Samosa cooking instructions
I’ve only ever cooked these samosa in the microwave, but had plenty fine success. I’m certain they’d be even better hot out of a deep fat fryer, but that’s not something my waistline really needs in the kitchen…

How much do Tandoor Chef Tandoori Chicken Samosa cost?
I paid $4.99 for this box of samosa at my local grocery store. I think $5 is the most I’d pay for this product. If I saw it under $4 I’d call it a great deal and grab a few!
Are Tandoor Chef Tandoori Chicken Samosa good?
Yes, these are a fab and fun appetizer. Perfect as snack or started they’re packed with Indian flavor and spice. They’re easy to prep and relatively healthy too. I just wish they had greater distribution in more stores.
