Get ready to welcome a brand new business to the quickly expanding world of plant based protein. Starting this month, consumers across various states should start to see a range of new products on shelves from Planterra Foods. The Colorado based companies new OZO range of products includes:
- OZO Burgers, two 4 oz patties
- OZO Ground, 12 oz package
- OZO Mexican Seasoned Ground, 12 oz package
According to a press release issued by the company OZO uses, “an exclusive proprietary blend of pea and rice protein fermented by shiitake mushrooms”.
The initial roll out of the product includes Colorado, Nebraska, New Mexico, South Dakota, Wyoming, Alabama, Arkansas, California, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio and Tennessee; as well as a fleet of OZO vans expected to zig zag the country handing out more than a million free tasting samples.
