If you thought bacon innovation was pretty much over, think again. This week, Hormel announced they’ve take bacon to the next level. Hormel have two words for you: Ranch bacon. Yep, you read that right, ranch-flavored bacon. Hormel writes:
“Our team combined American’s favorite condiment with thick-cut bacon to create Hormel Black Label bacon hand-rubbed with ranch seasoning. This new item will deliver the mouth-watering flavor of bacon and creamy ranch you crave on any sandwich, salad or baked potato – creating an unforgettable meal.”
Alongside the new ranch bacon is a new Classic Country Style bacon too. This is meant to hark back to the days of American settlers using “time-honored smokehouse processes” that apparently make for a taste difference that will make you stand up and take notice.
Both new bacon prodicts are available in 12 ounce packages and are available at Walmart and Spartan Nash locations. For more info see https://hormel.com/Brands/BlackLabelBacon.aspx.
