In the plant based world I often find oversells covering chicken and beef, but turkey? Not so much. I can only think of Gardein’s cutlets off the top of my head. Add another to the list now though, Dr. Praeger’s Sensible Foods have just announced their “Perfect Turk’y Burger”.
The brand writes that the burger, “has the look, taste, and texture of your favorite turkey burger, without the meat and made only with clean ingredients. Packed with 20g Pure Plant Protein and infused with carrots, sweet potatoes, and butternut squash, the Perfect Turk’y Burger is plant-based, gluten-free, soy-free and non-GMO project verified.”
The burger will hit shelves in the freezer section of the store, two per pack with an expect retail of $4.99. Stores that should feature the burger are: Kroger, Jewel Osco, HEB, Stop & Shop, Sprouts, Publix, Wegmans, ShopRite, Fresh Thyme, Lunds & Byerly’s and more.
We can’t wait to snag a couple and bring you the full review!
